While we're still busy processing our first coffee of the morning on the construction site, the Gavin Brown High ESD S3S has already proven itself time and again as a tough safety shoe: its steel toecap cushioned a collision with a pallet, the ladder grip helped us stand securely on a ladder, and the water-repellent nubuck leather upper reliably prevented rainwater from penetrating the shoe. But that's not all this safety shoe can do. The breathable lining ensures a comfortable climate, even after hours of wear, while the metal-free penetration-resistant midsole, made with recycled materials, reliably protects against nails, shards, and other hazards. The robust rubber/PU SAFETY GRIP outsole provides secure footing on wet concrete, muddy soil, or smooth workshop floors. At the same time, the PU toecap reduces abrasion at the toe of the shoe, precisely where it experiences the most wear and tear.

Furthermore, the shoe is certified with the following labels: FO, SR, SC, LG, HI, HRO, and CI. The leather comes from tanneries audited according to the LWG (Leather Working Group) standard for leather production. Thus, the shoe combines protection, durability, and environmental awareness.
