Safety boots for fire-loving teenagers
These days, most industries are struggling to recruit young people – and the fire service is no exception. To counteract this, many young people are learning about daily life in youth fire brigades. While they practice handling hoses, they don't actually go through fire. Therefore, safety shoes of class S3 are perfectly adequate. This is where the jo-FLO Mid ESD S3 model from JORI comes in. This ESD-compliant safety boot is ergonomically designed and comes in striking colors: the black cowhide upper is combined with blue, water-repellent textile material, the laces and seams are orange, and the slip-resistant PU/PU sole (SR-certified) is also made in bright blue. The decorative flame motif on the side of the boot indicates from afar that this boot was developed for firefighters – however, it should be noted again: this does not make the boot fireproof. The steel toe cap and steel penetration protection ensure that aspiring young firefighters are perfectly equipped for demanding operations – because you never know when a heavy object might fall on your foot or there might be broken glass on the ground. If you frequently have to work on your knees, the PU toe cap provides valuable protection, preventing premature wear of the upper material at the toe of the boot. The ladder grip on the outsole is a definite advantage for firefighting. The high heel and the transverse grooves in the space between the heel and midfoot provide a secure footing on ladders, reducing the risk of slipping even when fighting fires at height. This oil- and fuel-resistant safety boot with a breathable lining is available in sizes 36 to 48.
