At the same time, the MICK black-green Mid ESD S3S protects the wearer from hazards above and below with a steel toe cap and lightweight, textile penetration protection. It's also water-repellent, thanks to the hydrophobic suede combined with textile material. Nevertheless, it remains comfortable to wear, as the breathable textile lining prevents sweat from accumulating inside. ESD compatibility was also taken into account, and the ESD PRO black insole is designed for this purpose, as it dissipates electrical charge in a controlled manner via the boot. Visually, the safety boot scores points with reflective material on the sides and a PU overcap, which also promotes durability because the polyurethane overcap minimizes cracks and wrinkles in the upper material.
